The Project Manager is a member of the North South Europe (NSE) Security Programme Delivery Team and is responsible for the delivery of change projects across NSE geographies with the objective of increasing the security posture of all NSE firms.

The Security Delivery Team runs NSE-wide projects that cover deployment to all geographies, increasing agility, reducing duplication, and aligning with NSE Transformation objectives. The Delivery Team also collates NSE-wide requirements & an NSE position to respond and influence Global decisions with one coordinated voice.

The Delivery Team is a focused team with core skills to deliver beneficial change when coupled with technical specialists and in partnership with local geo experts.

Reporting to the NSE Security Programme Manager, the Project Manager will lead the change projects and be responsible for delivering the beneficial changes.

As a Project Manager you will manage projects within the NSE Security Delivery Team, where you will build strong relationships with your stakeholders, understanding their strategic direction, processes and requirements to become their trusted advisor on all elements of delivery. You will have both experience of delivering firmwide complex change working in an agile environment with multiple stakeholders at varying levels of seniority. You will equally be able to adopt and adapt to traditional project management approaches as required, to support the business’ objectives. You will be accountable for delivering your projects and their alignment with the agreed benefits through a value driven approach. You will navigate the technology and operational business change to transition services into operational support.

Responsibilities include

  • Manage assigned projects (software/products and/or infrastructure projects and/or services) and the production of relevant project deliverables and artefacts
  • Identify project risks and issues, escalating where appropriate, in a timely manner
  • Manage the expectations and satisfaction of the stakeholders
  • Implement effective Business Change Management techniques to ensure changes are successfully communicated, deployed, and adopted across the firm
  • Implement effective change control by ensuring project change impacts are assessed and communicated so all parties are aligned
  • Ensure project resources and budgets are tracked and kept up to date
  • Develop and distribute timely status reporting with key metrics to appropriate stakeholders
  • Follow and align with the organisation’s processes, governance framework and best practice
  • Manage, coach, and motivate the project team
  • Communicate with openness, honesty and respect in all situations and be adept at conflict resolution and direction setting

Essentials:

  • A proven track record of project management skills and experience:
  • Ability to deliver beneficial security posture enhancements successfully and consistently to time, cost, and quality requirements
  • An innovative approach to problem solving 
  • A keen focus on governance activity - plans, risks, issues, resourcing & finance - to ensure projects are under control
  • Very well organised and able to respond to changing priorities
  • Analytical and flexible with the ability to rapidly understand ambiguous and complex concepts
  • Good commercial awareness and the ability to deliver beneficial value with the approved project funding
  • Professional project management certification required (PRINCE2, PRINCE2 Agile, etc. (or equivalent))
  • Extensive cybersecurity experience and skills:
  • Proven ability to deploy significant controls to protect the firm without stopping the business
  • Ability to proactively sell cybersecurity controls to our internal customer base
  • Experience of a variety of project types - deployment of global services, implementation of cross-region standards to uprate security baselines, experience of agile response to address vulnerabilities
  • Exemplary people skills:
  • Worldclass stakeholder, customer, and supplier management skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with large numbers of people across many countries
  • Great communication skills - written, spoken, and presentation
  • Extensive cross border delivery experience:
  • Experience of project delivery into multiple countries and the ability to pragmatically navigate differing regulatory, legal, privacy, confidentiality, and ways of working frameworks
  • You’ll have great cultural awareness skills
  • Effective remote delivery:
  • Proven demonstration of drive and determination to build, unite, manage, coach and support fully remote teams to pragmatically deliver high quality results on time, every time

Desirables:

  • Professional cybersecurity certification desired (CISSP, etc. (or equivalent))
