CVG Sales Manager Tier II (Indonesia)

Main Purpose:

  • To achieve sales revenue and market share targets by promoting, selling and servicing Medtronic CVG products and therapies in the assigned territory.
  • To service existing customers and develop new business to achieve targeted business growth.
  • To assist in the development of building the competence of the sales force in product knowledge and selling skills to penetrate the market, enhancing customer experience and exceeding AOP year on year.
  • To develop appropriate mechanisms to forecast sales and set targets for sales reps to achieve and exceed AOP.
  • To practice good territory management in terms of organization, administration and expense planning and control.
  • To ensure that the company’s agreed quality standards are maintained with regard to its products, procedures, policies, operations and customer contact.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist CVG Country Leader in exceeding AOP & EBIT of the assigned Division(s)/territory
  • Implement business plans and provide field reports to CVG Country Leader.
  • Assist CVG Country Leader and work with BU sales managers/supervisors in leading the team in Indonesia through
  • Excellence in sales coaching, target setting, sales coverage
  • Competence in product knowledge
  • Develop and implement sales and call plans for specific territory
  • Work with other Medtronic stakeholders and distributors
  • SCM, & distributors for total customer solution and experience. Develop consignment rationale, proposal and management processes. Ensure accurate usage is tracked, inventory is maintained/replenished, and billing is completed accurately.
  • Finance to manage accounts receivables.
  • Marketing teams to ensure appropriate pricing is maintained, marketing & market development activities are aligned on and executed, portfolio is maximized and share is increased.
  • Market and customer management
  • Create customer database and tracking Sales progress
  • Market data & information gathering
  • Identify and help develop KOL relationships and its program
  • Based on competitive information, develop counter-active strategy
  • Manage existing and new products and the mix
  • Be a role model in actively promoting Medtronic’s Business Code of Conduct and turning it into the company’s competitive advantage.
  • Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) – To actively utilize SFE processes for planning, delivering and analyzing sales calls
  • Create newer opportunities to enhance business and to work towards tapping them.
  • Have periodic reviews with distributor/logistics partner/BU team on the progress – revenues/customers wise sales
  • Focus on effectively managing the investments in the territory by targeted event management activities. Conduct marketing initiatives/CME as planned for the quarter
  • Promptly attend to customer service needs – directly or through distributor

Skill, Experience and Knowledge:

  • Proven years of direct sales experience with additional years of sales experience in medical devices or related industry
  • Proven years of Sales Management experience
