The Role:

The AEM Java Developer is responsible for development of the Logitech websites and has extensive experience in designing and building components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using the AEM architecture (Sling, CRX, OSGI, JCR).

  • Build CQ5 templates, components, dialogs, widgets and bundles.
  • Develop Multilingual, Multisite and Multi locale applications using Adobe CQ/AEM.
  • Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse.
  • Participate in code reviews and facilitate learning and continuous improvement.

                                                                                                                                                                       

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • At-least 4 years of strong Java development experience with Adobe AEM / CQ5.
  • Experience on Java Content Repository (API) suite, Sling web framework and Apache Felix OSGi framework, DAM and Workflows.
  • Experience with Sightly / Sling models
  • Experience designing and developing WCM components, integrations and applications.
  • Experience developing & consuming RESTful APIs and SOAP-based web services 
  • Experience with Java, J2EE, OOAD, MVC. Should have good understanding of OOPS.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jquery) and AJAX
  • Experience with BitBucket/Git/GitHub, branching, merging and resolving merge conflicts.

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • Front and back end development experience preferred
  • Experience with automated testing tools
  • Experience with Jenkins and continuous integration

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent
