Vice President, Corporate FP&A, Supply Chain and R&D Finance

The Vice President, Corporate FP&A, Supply Chain and R&D Finance will play a critical, leading role in managing critical FP&A and Finance functions at Juniper Networks Inc. This experienced business executive will serve as a key member of the Finance Leadership team as well as oversee the Corporate FP&A, R&D, Supply Chain and G&A Finance teams. 

Key Responsibilities:

Executive Leadership:

  • Lead a team of ~30 finance and accounting professionals
  • Provide financial support to the CEO and CFO
  • Help craft the company’s financial strategy
  • Support/drive key company and Finance initiatives

Corporate FP&A and G&A Finance:

  • Manage the intra-quarter provide updates to senior leadership
  • Own the Quarterly Operations Review meeting
  • Manage the 5 quarter P&L forecasting process
  • Drive the annual 3 year financial planning process
  • Support the quarterly earnings process, including guidance setting, script review, and analysis
  • Manage Opex forecasting and close process for all G&A functions and provide financial support to the executive leaders of each of those functions

R&D Finance:

  • Provide financial support to the CTO, head of engineering, and business unit leaders
  • Manage Opex forecasting and close process for R&D
  • Provide key analysis including ROI, revenue and profitability by product
  • Drive forecasting of bookings, revenue and profitability by product
  • Participate in quarterly “Integrated Business Planning” (IBP) process to

Supply Chain Operations Finance:

  • Provide financial support to the SVP of Supply Chain Operations
  • Support key initiatives including the IBP process and GM Optimization project
  • Manage inventory close process, as well as the forecasting and close process for Manufacturing opex

Key Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred, CFA or CPA a plus
  • 15+ years’ experience with a public company in Corporate FP&A and business partnering roles
  • Experience managing team of 20+ individuals
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to present complex financial concepts to senior executives
  • Ability to interact with senior leadership across all functions
