Position Overview:

The Regional R&M Leader provides strategic direction and support in all aspects of R&M within the region, remaining aligned with the global R&M strategy.  The Regional Leader works with the global team in Johnston as well with site maintenance leaders and regional business connects to ensure the appropriate R&M tools are integrated into the improvement and execution plans at the site level.  Supports both site leadership and business leaders with appropriate rituals, cadence, and metrics to ensure R&M activity is meeting the business need and driving functional excellence.


  • Support Regional business leaders with integrating R&M metrics and best practices into regional rituals and cadence to ensure implementation
  • Perform on-boarding and on-going coaching with Maintenance Supervisors at locations
  • Facilitate acquisition of tools and resources to support regional needs from global team or regional support resources in a manner aligned with global strategy
  • Interface with business functions (e.g. finance, sourcing) to ensure regional practices are consistent with NA practices and aligned with global R&M strategy
  • Work with site and business leaders to implement metrics and EAM as appropriate in alignment with global strategy

Job Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Four-Year Technical Degree in relevant subject areas (e.g BS - Mechanical Engineering or similar) desired
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in production/maintenance environment, preferably in a maintenance leadership role such as Supervisor, or as a consulting resource such as Maintenance Specialist
  • Practical knowledge of a broad range of R&M practices and disciplines
  • Industry recognized certification in R&M Leadership & Management beneficial (e.g. CRL, Maintenance and Reliability Management Diploma, etc)
  • Ability to develop, foster, and excel in a team environment
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive delivery of business value through program implementation
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with the ability to influence multiple levels of the organization; able to take a “hands-on” approach in training and execution
  • Knowledge of OEE, LEAN, Six Sigma will be an asset
