You’ll work with our Digital 20/20 team in the US. Digital 20/20 is part of McKinsey New Ventures.
Digital 20/20 is based on the cumulative IT expertise of McKinsey's Digital/McKinsey. It offers services and software tools to improve the IT performance of medium and large enterprises and IT service providers. We support the entire value chain of IT performance transformation: quickly assessing current performance, benchmarking against industry peers and best-in-class companies, identifying improvement levers and quantifying potential, supporting implementation measures, and sustaining improvements over time.
New Ventures is a recently formed part of McKinsey focused on fostering innovations driven by analytics, design thinking, mobile, social and other technologies and integrating them into our client work. It is a foundation for—and expands our investment in—our entrepreneurial culture.
You will work as part of McKinsey consulting teams and with clients on Digital diagnostics and in general on Digital transformation (e.g., process digitization, Agile/DevOps, Cloud Migration) projects.
You will be responsible to deliver Digital 20/20 services stand-alone or as a part of a broader McKinsey project. For example you’ll work on analysis of IT productivity, IT maturity or Digital maturity. In projects you will interact with both junior and senior client stakeholders (up to C-level), supervise and coordinate analyst(s) for data gathering, analyze and problem solve complex client issues, and build end deliverables. Last, you will act as subject matter expert to McKinsey consultants in the field of software coding and IT performance diagnostics
Projects will be run in North America and sometimes globally. The job will require both remote interaction with clients and McKinsey colleagues and work at client premises. Typical amount of travel will be around 40—50%.
