Loading... CNC BURNER/OPERATOR:
We have an immediate need for an experienced CNC burner/operator. Key functions of your role will be to manufacture burned parts following pre-programmed schematics and dimensions, with a strong focus on quality and keeping the level of work consistent. Experience with nesting in OmniWin software highly preferable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up plasma and oxyfuel burning table and select materials that are required for each work order
- Independently operate CNC machines following the guidelines of our production programmer
- Efficiently nest work orders for maximum production
- Manage all plate inventory, with respect to job charging materials and maintaining accurate inventory counts
- Ensure quality production at all times in addition to proper operation of equipment
- Maintain traceability on all jobs
- Mark materials and package parts
- Ensure quality and quantity standards are met on a daily/consistent basis
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times
- Perform all daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment
- Always comply with safety protocol
- Comply with policies related to quality of work at all times
Required Experience/Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating CNC burn table.
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to use measuring tools such as dial calipers, O.D and I.D. micrometers, bore gauges.
