We have an immediate need for an experienced CNC burner/operator. Key functions of your role will be to manufacture burned parts following pre-programmed schematics and dimensions, with a strong focus on quality and keeping the level of work consistent. Experience with nesting in OmniWin software highly preferable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up plasma and oxyfuel burning table and select materials that are required for each work order
  • Independently operate CNC machines following the guidelines of our production programmer
  • Efficiently nest work orders for maximum production
  • Manage all plate inventory, with respect to job charging materials and maintaining accurate inventory counts
  • Ensure quality production at all times in addition to proper operation of equipment
  • Maintain traceability on all jobs
  • Mark materials and package parts
  • Ensure quality and quantity standards are met on a daily/consistent basis
  • Keep work area clean and organized at all times
  • Perform all daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment
  • Always comply with safety protocol
  • Comply with policies related to quality of work at all times

Required Experience/Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience operating CNC burn table.
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to use measuring tools such as dial calipers, O.D and I.D. micrometers, bore gauges.
