This position reports to

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact to contribute to complex, innovative, and impactful projects. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role supports various Business Areas and Divisions of ABB across multiple locations in India, including Bangalore, Pune, Nashik, Vadodara and Faridabad. You will be mainly accountable for: • Evaluating, selecting and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments in projects • Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of service engineering projects/programs • Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities. • Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution. • Monitor and report project progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Qualifications for the role

• Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Communications/ Instrumentation or related disciplines).
• Experience: 2-15 years of experience in Project Engineering roles from any of these below skills:
• MV switchgear/ Power Electronics/ Power Drive System/ LV and MV Drives/ motors/transformers
• Mechanical design of rotating electrical machines (motors and generators)
• End-to-End Project Engineering with Commissioning Experience in DCS/PLC/SCADA
• DCS Automation/ HMI/ safety system/ 800xA/ SG400, MOD300, AC800M, Melody, AC500 / SAT & FAT in the control systems/ interface (Profibus, Modbus, OPC, IEC61850)
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles,
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel or relocate as per project requirements
