The Group Finance Accounts Assistant will work as part of the Group Finance team, providing assistance in a broad range of financial areas. This role will give a wide variety of experience in finance including general ledgers, management accounts reporting, consolidation, statutory accounts, while providing opportunity to work alongside a large group of accountants in a fast-paced multinational environment.

This role is based in our Dublin office on a hybrid basis - 2 days in the office per week 

Role Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Group Accounting team and support the team with month end close tasks such as preparation of schedules including journal templates, account reconciliations, monitoring intercompany collections and assisting with general month end review activities.
  • Involvement in forecasting and budgeting process.
  • Involvement in the completion of statutory accounts and the year end annual report process.
  • Support the Group Finance team and the Group Tax team at year end close.
  • Assist in the monthly consolidation review.
  • Involvement in ad hoc projects as required

What do you bring to the Role?

  • Finance/Business qualification (Diploma level or higher) completed.
  • Accountancy qualification an advantage (educational assistance will be provided if desired)
  • Flexible and adaptable team player.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook.
