As a 355U Artist-in-Residence, you will work with students at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts (RASOTA) and be part of the instructional team for students preparing for careers in architecture, instrumental music, vocal music, dance, theater, writing, visual arts, and media and film. You will help to lead RASOTA’s transformational work to deliver on the promises outlined in both Transform Learning. Transform Lives. as well as our long-term, city-wide North Star, Vision 2025. We want someone who will provide real world experience to elevate the education we provide to students, better preparing them for careers in the arts.

This is a Temporary Exempt (TEX) appointment type.
This is an as-needed position working less than 20 hours per week.
SFUSD offers a starting hourly rate of $41.20. All positions are as-needed. Daily hours of work range from 3 to 7 hours dare based on student enrollment within specific disciplines. The number of days Artists-in-Residence participate in the program depend on student enrollment within specific discipline.
