Job Description:

The Client Systems team delivers technology driven solutions to support the Institutional Sales, Financial Advisor Services, and Marketing departments at Dimensional. The Senior Business Analyst will interface with internal business customers and stakeholders to define scope, objectives, functional and non-functional requirements for technology solutions, lead quality assurance and software testing efforts for digital transformation initiatives.  Work will include all aspects of a project lifecycle such as defining requirements in the form of user stories for new system implementations, business analysis, and business process mapping, quality assurance, software testing, delivering existing system enhancements and post-implementation support. Projects will include both third-party platforms as well as in-house custom developed solutions. The successful candidate for this position will be customer obsessed with a strong background in full product life-cycle implementations and known for producing high-quality work products.


  • Own and drive quality assurance and software testing efforts with a key focus on automated testing and DevOps enablement on the team
  • Formulate and implement software testing strategies for digital transformation initiatives
  • Develop and review test plans, test cases and test reports to provide insight into the quality of in-development products and measure effectiveness of current test strategies
  • Work with key business and technology stakeholders to define and ideate product strategy and requirements
  • Develop product roadmaps that align with business goals and the organization’s project portfolio
  • Conduct business analysis and business process mapping with cross-functional teams to enable digital transformation efforts
  • Lead Agile Scrum ceremonies on projects to enable effective software development

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field required (Masters or an MBA preferred)
  • At least 5 years of work experience shaping and delivering technology-enabled business transformation efforts
  • Strong understanding of Agile software development and the ability to work on cross-functional teams
  • Experience with software testing best practices including automated testing and DevOps
  • Experience with business analysis, business process mapping, and data analysis using SQL and Excel
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight
  • Detail oriented with a proven ability to self-motivate and follow-through on tasks
  • Strong problem solving, analysis and communication skills, both verbal and written

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior consulting experience at a professional services firm preferably in the financial services industry
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), Project Management Professional (PMP), CFA Institute Investment Foundations certificate.
