Fast Enterprises is a provider of essential software and services for citizens and government. In 1998, we changed the way government revenue agencies support their business with the introduction of GenTax®. We have expanded beyond Tax and now also perform implementations for Motor Vehicle, Driver License, Unemployment Insurance, and Child Support Engagement agencies.

Your FAST internship has a meaningful and lasting social impact. 

Responsibilities

As a Recruiting Intern, you will work with FAST’s Recruiting team to ensure that our candidate experience is enjoyable and that we’re staying on top of trends that determine how candidates reach out to employers. A strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously will contribute to your success in this role. You will gain experience in the technical recruiting world. We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to jump into our process, has a curious mindset, and can assist us with our full recruiting process lifecycle. We would like someone to join our team as a full-time intern during the summer of 2024. Candidates should be in or near Centennial, CO and will work out of our headquarters. Being open to travel is desired as there may be opportunities to travel to participate in the recruiting process. 

  • Coordinate the phases of the recruiting process, including scheduling phone and video interviews, answering pre-interview questions, and facilitating interviews.
  • Support all the logistics for university recruiting (both virtual and in-person), including registering for career fairs, scheduling events, sourcing candidates, and organizing recruiting materials.
  • Maintain job postings through various online databases and our website.
  • Provide updates to candidates, recruiters, and hiring teams regarding interview statuses.
  • Collaborate with the Recruiting team to offer suggestions on new and creative ways to reach candidates.
  • Assist with the preparation and ordering or distribution of recruiting supplies and material assembly.
  • Be willing to complete other recruiting tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should be currently working towards a degree in: Human Resources, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience and success with managing several different tasks at once, problem-solving, and effectively prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining work quality.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills that allow for independent decision-making and the creation of innovative solutions
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Have a high level of energy, be creative and enthusiastic, and have a willingness to learn.
  • A “can-do” attitude and readiness to take on any challenges that come your way and eager to do your best to support the Recruiting team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a strong work ethic.
  • Organized and maintaining a strong attention to detail in all areas of the role
  • Willing to work a minimum of 15-20 hours a week.
