Web Developer (PHP & Javascript)

This makes HYPEBEAST a premier network and destination for cultural enthusiasts, tastemakers and influencers alike.


  • Develop, maintain, and support HYPEBEAST, HBX and other projects
  • In the backend we work mostly in PHP (Symfony framework) but also believe in using the right tool for each particular job. Our stack also includes Go Lang, MySQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, Memcached, RabbitMQ, AWS
  • In the front end we work mostly in jQuery, Angular 2+ and VueJS
  • Create basic front-end using HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • Writing clean, maintainable code while rapidly iterating and shipping
  • Explore / lead us to the latest and best development techniques


  • Minimum 1 year of experience developing application in PHP
  • Minimum 1 year of experience developing application in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Proficiency with at least one of the PHP framework (eg. Symfony, Laravel)
  • Profound knowledge of at least one of the Javascript framework (eg. Angular 2, VueJS or React)
  • Profound knowledge of relational and key-value databases (eg. MySQL, Redis)
  • Experience in version control tool is a must, such as Git
  • Ability to debug and optimize code
  • Familiar with the full web delivery stack, including Javascript and CSS
  • Comfortable working in Linux is an advantage
  • Experience with AWS or similar public cloud service provider is a plus
  • Must be able to learn quickly and pick up new technologies
  • Must be able to work independently and on a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
