We are looking for a high-performing DevSecOps Engineer that is innovative, can handle many security, product-team, and business requirements at once, can see problems holistically, and can be excited and passionate about designing new architecture from the ground up. The DevSecOps Engineer is responsible for maintaining the security, technology, availability, and integrity of the WiltonRe group. The ideal candidate will assist platform teams to build the guard-rails and solutions needed to support to support the WiltonRe group. 

Role Responsibilities: 

  • Strong Organization and Prioritization skills
  • Strong Oral and Written Communication skills
  • Linux Systems Admin experience (RHEL/Ubuntu preferred) – A minimum of 7 years of experience.
  • Docker/Kubernetes/Container experience (Azure Kubernetes preferred)
  • Scripting and Automation experience (Python, PowerShell, BASH preferred)
  • Securing Linux and Containers experience
  • Securing Azure and Cloud Systems experience
  • NFS Systems Admin experience (NFS on RHEL and NetApp preferred)
  • Change Management experience
  • Practical understanding of networking

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 5-8 Years of Experience 
  • Azure DevOps experience
  • Experience supporting Development teams
  • Agile Daily Scrum work board experience
  • GIT code/commit experience
  • IT Compliance Controls experience
  • Experience setting up and managing monitors and alerts
  • Directory Admin experience
  • Salt Stack Admin experience
  • DNS Admin experience
  • Proxy Admin experience
  • SMTP relay Admin experience

Required Education / Certifications 

  • Degree in related field desired

Base salary/hourly rate range for this position in Connecticut is between $100,000 and $150,000. Please note that specific compensation decisions are based upon a variety of job-related factors as permitted by law, including geographic location, credentials, skills, education, training and experience.
