Your Mission

In this role, you will partner closely with your Product Design team members, Product Management, and software engineers to help create end-to-end experiences from concept to delivery.

As a Senior UXR, you have experience conducting User Research for various digital products and solutions. You are also passionate about AI, its potential positive impact, and how it can truly augment how people work every day. You enjoy a fast-paced environment where you will be collaborating across disciplines and helping the product team use your research work to achieve positive, verifiable outcomes. You will be part of a growing collaborative UXR team, exploring and applying new methodologies and tactics to help understand our users and what’s most beneficial to them.

What you'll do at UiPath

  • Develop and implement UX research strategies to help guide the organization by informing product strategies and validating product experiences.
  • Use and incorporate advanced statistical analysis (e.g. computational statistics with tools like SPSS, R, Python, Matlab etc.)
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate research topics, and develop execution plans for User and Customer Research.
  • Contribute to the ideation phase by framing research questions that align with business objectives and user needs, influencing the overall direction of product development.
  • Collect and share fact-based and actionable user insights to highlight opportunities and potential improvements.
  • Conduct research, analyze data and input, present insights and guidance to diverse audiences.
  • Integrate qualitative and quantitative research methods to capture a comprehensive understanding of user behavior and preferences.

What you'll bring to the team

  • 5+ years of experience in applied User Experience research, using a mix of methods like usability studies, contextual inquiry, diary studies, and surveys.
  • Bachelor's or MS in a human behaviour or research-related field with significant academic or industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of various user research methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of User Experience research methods including experimental design, data analyses (qualitative and quantitative), and data synthesis.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and act as a strategic partner in product decisions.
  • Strong project management skills, successfully handling multiple studies at once for different products, demonstrating efficiency and effectiveness in research project execution.
  • Experience using advanced computational statistics for analysing large and complex datasets, ensuring robust research outcomes.
  • Strong organisational skills to streamline and improve the efficiency of research projects, ensuring timely and impactful results.

Nice to have

  • PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • Technical ability in software and tools for developers
  • Experience with developer audiences
  • Mastering data and query languages
