Our lead software developer is a senior position on the team responsible for setting our design direction, leading and coaching our developers, and providing overall technical though leadership with respect to how we deliver capability to our customers. As a part of an Agile program our lead will also be accountable for ensuring technical excellence through the use of agile practices such as test driven development, continuous integration, and refactoring. Additional responsibilities include customer demos of work completed within iterations, removing impediments to the team’s success, and ensuring collective team ownership.

High School diploma or equivalent required. 5 years of programming/development experience required. 1 year of experience as a technical lead required.
Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. 9 years of programming/development experience preferred. 2 years of experience as a technical lead preferred.

Problem Solving and Decision Making – Demonstrates sound analytic and diagnostic skills dealing with issues that are loosely defined and/or where information is available but must be further manipulated. Once decisions are made, is able to follow and direct action to implement intended results.
