Position Summary

We are looking for a Professional Account Manager for Nespresso working in the Quebec City area on a 6-month contract, reporting to the Regional B2B Sales Director. The Professional Account Manager will ensure the acquisition, retention, and productivity of customers within offices, hotels, restaurants, cafés/bars and offices. The Professional Account Manager will ensure high visibility and premium service (before and after) to Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés, and BUREAU customers in order to become a category leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for a territory in the Quebec City area.

A day in the life of an Account Manager:

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring new Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés and BUREAU customers in the appropriate target group. You will maintain and cultivate relationships with existing customers and manage coffee consumption on operating contracts. You will be responsible for optimizing customer profitability and ensuring compliance with corporate and regional channel guidelines and policies.

In addition, you will: 

  • Carry out weekly and monthly reporting on sales and company KPIs.
  • Successfully convert customers into Nespresso Ambassadors
  • Leverage current market and network knowledge to accelerate Nespresso's presence in the Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés and office channels
  • Ensure high visibility within the Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés and BUREAU channels through customer acquisition and placement of machines in the pre-defined target group
  • Execute the strategy for the Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés and OFFICE channels in order to achieve the targets and business objectives defined in the operational plan.
  • Work closely with national and regional Nespresso distribution networks

As the successful candidate, you'll be the brand champion across the organization, so you'll need to be passionate, tenacious, results-driven and really enjoy working in a high-energy, exciting environment. You already have experience in sales, coupled with your highly organized and dynamic approach, with account management experience, all of which will be considered a strong asset. Proactivity, tenacity and enthusiasm are essential, as is your ability to understand and work in our competitive market. 

You will also have:

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, economics, hospitality or equivalent
  • Must be fluently bilingual in English and French
  • Full and valid driver's license is required
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in marketing or sales. Experience in the Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés or BUREAU channel will be considered an important asset.
  • Business-oriented, autonomous, diligent and creative
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to demonstrate and convey key brand messages with passion, credibility and sincerity
  • Flexible and able to adapt to a changing environment
  • Ability to self-manage from a distance
