He angitūtanga: The opportunity
Are you passionate about sustainable stormwater management and ready to make a significant impact on Auckland’s environment? Join our Healthy Waters and Flood Resilience (HW & FR) department as the Manager Design Partnerships, where you’ll lead, mentor, and inspire a dynamic team of designers and project managers.
In this role, you will oversee the delivery of innovative, large-scale blue/green stormwater projects. You’ll champion collaboration and innovation, partnering with mana whenua and working closely with Auckland Council employees, central government, consultants, industry and a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve best-practice sustainable stormwater outcomes.

You are an experienced leader with a proven track record of guiding high-performing teams in local government or infrastructure settings. Your expertise in stormwater programme management, engineering and design is complemented by strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to drive engagement and deliver outstanding results.
With a focus on delivery, you excel in achieving key outcomes and ensuring projects are completed successfully.
