Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to help facilitate the selection and hiring for positions at all levels of the distribution center, all while giving uncompromising levels of customer service and helping grow a workforce in alignment with our Enterprise goals and values.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Recruitment Strategy: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for distribution center positions, including warehouse associates, supervisors, and management roles.
  • Sourcing and Screening: Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, to identify and engage potential candidates. Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and assess candidate qualifications to determine fit for available positions.
  • Candidate Management: Manage the candidate experience from initial contact through the hiring process, including scheduling interviews, coordinating assessments, and providing timely communication and feedback to candidates.
  • Partnership and Collaboration: Partner closely with hiring managers and department leaders to understand staffing needs and priorities. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop job descriptions, interview questions, and selection criteria.
  • Talent Acquisition Metrics: Track and report on recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and candidate quality. Use data-driven insights to evaluate recruitment strategies and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Employer Branding: Promote Guitar Center as an employer of choice by showcasing our company culture, values, and career opportunities. Represent the company at job fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to attract top talent.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to recruitment and hiring processes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records, including resumes, applications, and interview notes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a recruiter or talent acquisition specialist, with specific experience in high-volume recruiting for distribution centers or similar environments.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software tools.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly related to recruitment and hiring practices.
  • Skilled proficiency with the Microsoft suite of program skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Pay Rate: $55,000 - 62,000 / annually depending on background and experience.
