We’re looking for a Launch Manager to join Team Snapchat! Working closely with our Customer Operations team, you will own the launch readiness for our consumer support. From pre-release coordination to operational run-state, you will perform early risk identification, anticipate operational impacts, identify tooling requirements, and ensure that all stakeholders stay informed and are prepared for launch. Working from our Santa Monica, CA office, you will take on projects that span offices and time zones, ensuring the execution of a release's progress and communicating to all relevant operational teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee release management coordination, launch design, and solutioning
  • Anticipate and manage change to ensure our operational teams are ready to absorb new features
  • Transition from pre-release to operational run-state with associated reporting, training, and analytics
  • Coordinate cross functionally with legal, marketing, design to ensure full organizational readiness  
  • Drive operational excellence, continual product improvements and scale
  • Influence and promote initiatives that support our short and long-term business goals

Who we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years experience in release management
  • A detail-oriented individual with executive maturity, business acumen, and the ability to influence and communicate within all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships, both internally and externally
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • A team player who’s willing to get their hands dirty and help where needed
  • Passionate about supporting our Snapchatters and understands what makes for a good user experience
