This Conference Room Specialist position works in a busy, team environment that services approximately 50 conference rooms in our four facilities within the Framingham campus. Responsibilities entail setting up various configurations in the conference rooms for meetings and events as well as maintaining and troubleshooting the A/V equipment in those rooms. We utilize an online booking reservation tool that is integrated in Outlook in which all employees have access to for booking rooms. However, we provide daily, ongoing support to our internal customers, such as helping them use equipment in our conference rooms or helping them find rooms when they’re unable to find available rooms through our booking tool. In addition, we also assist with setups in our cafeterias, Auditorium and other areas as needed for special events. A few regular occurring events include Sales meetings with our top retail vendors, an annual HR Global Conference and a bi-annual engineering Bose Technology Conference. We have an online work order system for tracking and logging equipment issues, maintenance and inventory, as well as serving as a ticket request system for customer support. There are also additional opportunities for cross-training in other areas that our organization supports like Shipping, mail room and the Auditorium. This job requires strong customer service and professional written and verbal communication skills as you will interact with all levels of employees.
The hours for this position are 8:00am-4:30pm.
