We are looking for a motivated and technically driven Support Technician for our Global Expert Technical Support team, for a highly motivated and resourceful engineer.

You will be part of a closely knit team, working in an inspiring atmosphere at Schneider Electric in our new premises in Lund, Sweden with many different growth opportunities.


Role Description

You will offer support and assistance to Advanced Level support teams and field engineers at our branch offices and affiliates worldwide for our BMS systems for building automation that monitors and controls systems such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, access & security etc.

You are an organized, multi-tasking individual who prioritizes tasks efficiently and quickly learns new products and technologies.

  • Knowledge of HVAC and automation systems is preferable.
  • Knowledge of Schneider Electric's Buildings Business products would be advantageous; however, training will be provided.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide in-depth technical support to regional advanced support teams, field engineers at our branch offices and affiliates worldwide in a timely manner.

  • Investigate reported software and hardware faults and document the findings.
  • Work with our Research and Development (R&D) teams and Marketing to solve product issues
  • Conduct on site investigation for product issues.
  • Log all support activity into the CRM system.
  • Assist with testing of existing and future products.
  • Assist other team members in day-to-day technical or administrative issues, as required.
  • Maintain a tidy and professional appearance, both in and out of the office.
  • Good English communication skills, verbally and written.
  • In-depth knowledge of computers in a Windows environment.
  • Structured trouble-shooting skills for complex issues.
  • Capable of working with people who have varying technical and product knowledge.
