The Business

In Belgium, Willis Towers Watson (Gras Savoye Belgium and Gras Savoye Consulting (Belgium)) is an independent international insurance broker and consultant, an authority on managing and auditing all operational risks, executive risks and Employee Benefits.

As Client Manager, you are responsible for managing the policies of our corporate clients, for whom you manage all of the IARD branches (management of the Life and Fleet policies is handled by a specific department). Together with the Account Manager, you are the first point of contact for our clients. You optimally defend and promote their interests, both on the internal level and externally with our partners-insurers. For this purpose, you keep close track of the conventions and agreements in effect. Client-oriented management and rigorous follow-up of the files are second nature for you.

The Role

You manage from A to Z the files that form part of your client portfolio, i.e.:

  • You enter the data of the policies into our system 

  • You make sure to systematically update and supplement the digitised client files

  • You are responsible for placing risks with the insurers

  • It is also up to you to do the annual review of the policies with regard to their conditions and rates

  • You are in contact with our clients on a daily basis and deal with their technical insurance questions

  • You are thus able to proactively identify cross-selling opportunities

  • You have frequent contacts with our partners-insurers

  • You are responsible for establishing offers for new prospects

Together with the Account Manager, you form a “winning team” that concentrates on both maintaining and augmenting the growth of our client portfolio. As a good communicator, you respond quickly and enthusiastically to the technical production questions of our clients, your colleagues and the Account Managers; you also actively seek the right solutions.


Job Requirements

The Requirements

  • Training: At least a Bachelor degree

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the position of policies manager for all IARD branches with an insurance broker

  • Language knowledge: Your native language is French and you have a very good knowledge of Dutch and English

  • Open-minded: You have a mind that is open to change, and you regard the possibility of working temporarily in our other offices of Liège, Hasselt and Kortrijk as an opportunity. Teleworking also allows you not to always have to travel physically.

  • Other skills: You are an excellent negotiator. You are proactive and eager to satisfy the client. Moreover, you like working on a team, you have a sense of detail and you demonstrate organisation and structure in your work.
