Position Overview

Details of the Division and Team:

The Branch Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring timely, complete, and accurate processing of relevant information, including performing all relevant controls within own area of responsibility. They undertake time critical, complex, or regulated tasks and must ensure the timely escalation of operational, regulatory, and other risks to the line manager and functional leads as appropriate.

The Branch Operations Analyst may also be responsible for building and managing relationships with the front office and other internal and external parties at an appropriate level, in particular around the more time critical, complex or regulated tasks.

We are hiring for two teams:

  • FX team
  • Account Opening team

If in FX team,

Your key responsibilities:

  • Support early-shift for FX instruction management.
  • Monitor and process daily FX transaction.
  • Regulatory reporting and reconciliation.
  • Participant in system enhancement for clients’ request and market change.
  • Support client reporting and inquiries for FX transactions.
  • Support internal reporting and activities for audit and risk control purpose.

Your skills and experience:

  • Minimum 2 years experiences in banking operations or custodian function
  • Good knowledge of FINI system in Taiwan market
  • Understanding of custody account opening process and applicable regulations
  • Good communication skill
  • Ability to work independently
  • Risk control related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business management, or relevant function
  • It is mandatory for candidates to possess the Trust License as it is regulated by Taiwan government.

If in Accounts Opening team,

Your key responsibilities:

  • FINI’s tax ID registration.
  • Cash and securities account opening. 
  • Trading accounts opening with brokers.
  • Process FINI name changed and account closed operations.
  • Based on client's request in SLA to daily provide the required statements. 
  • Communicate with local brokers, Taiwan depositary and local tax agents for account opening and audit process.
  • Participant in system enhancement for clients’ request and market change.
  • Support client reporting and inquiries for account opening request.
  • Support internal reporting and activities for audit and risk control purpose.
  • Daily cash and stock reconciliation.

Your skills and experience:
