The Manager - International Taxation and Tax Planning is responsible for optimizing BRP's tax position and managing the tax risks of the company. As such, he will actively participate in the evolution of the Company's business model and its underlying legal structure related to restructuring or growth projects. Proactive and organized, you will have the opportunity to exploit your talents and skills by taking on the following duties and responsibilities:

Act as a leader in collaboration with our legal departments to analyze, modify or implement legal or tax structures to meet the business needs of the company through innovative solutions while ensuring the fiscal integrity of the company ;

Responsible for the fiscal aspect of treasury operations, including inter-company financing, external financing and the development of strategies for the repatriation of funds to the parent company. You will work closely with our treasury and legal department;

You will ensure the integration between the business model and the transfer pricing policy of the company;

Evaluate and communicate Canadian tax issues related to BRP's foreign operations

You will manage and supervise certain tax audits;

Perform a watch and follow up on international tax legislative changes. Assess the impacts and communicate the issues.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Recognized professional title in accounting and master's degree in taxation or equivalent

Excellent analytical and synthetic ability;

Written communication skills;

Knowledge of English (oral and written);

Minimum five (5) years experience in international taxation combined with excellent knowledge of new transfer pricing principles;

A proactive attitude, business acumen and adaptability

 

The incumbent of this position will work at the facilities of the company located in downtown Montreal.
