NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. Through the widespread user-oriented OS, Android, we promote the use of various AI technologies on this platform with different products like Shield, Android Auto, and some other interesting applications. We are currently looking for an Android System Software Integration Engineer in our Taipei, Taiwan office!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Bring up new Android OS on our product, from building to booting up, leveraging different domains based on your skill set
  • Work closely with internal software/hardware groups to bring up the new board for the Android system
  • Contribute to new feature development on our product.
  • Infrastructure and CI/CD control and management.

What we need to see:

  • BS or MS degree on CS or EE or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Android system-level work, which can be frameworks, kernel, BSP, or build-related.
  • Experience with OS upgrades or new board bring-up for Android-based products.
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++, Java, Python.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Highly motivated to provide responsive support as needed.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Willingness to support various tasks to ensure the completion of the mission
  • Strong knowledge of Android features in framework, kernel, or BSP.
  • Familiar with Android build, boot up flow from boot loader to kernel and user mode.
  • Experience working on system software in a large-scale codebase.
