The Business

Our office in Brussels provides a specialist range of consulting advice in employee benefits, pension administration, brokerage, human resources, data services, insurance, investment and communications. This very focused, specialist approach is a characteristic which differentiates us in the Belgian market.

The Brussels’ Benefits team focuses on company pensions. To strengthen the legal and compliance side of the Benefits team, we are looking for a flexible and motivated Compliance Assistant who will work within the legal team specialized in supplementary pension and pension funds.

The Role

As a Compliance Assistant within the Willis Towers Watson Benefits team, your main responsibilities are:

  • Manage the reporting related to Pension Funds (completion of annual reports in an automated system);

  • Assist the compliance officers;

  • Be the administrative support to pension fund managers:

    • Drafting minutes

    • Publishing formalities

    • Collecting signatures from members from Board of Directors;

  • Be responsible of eCorporate (online tool of the FSMA);

  • Liaise with control authorities;

  • Take on pension administration tasks;

  • Support the pension funds management with governance aspects;

  • Work with consultants and support legal experts with compliance matters.

Job Requirements

The Requirements

  • You have a bachelor degree;

  • A prior experience within Legal, Pensions, Insurance, Benefits & Compensations or other Financial Services is an asset but no must;

  • You are an eager learner (especially eager to learn Pension Administration), accurate and flexible;

  • Deadline-oriented with good organizational skills;

  • You are fluent in Dutch and have a very good knowledge of French and English;

  • You are a real team player with excellent social skills;

  • Stress resistant with a good  sense of humour.
