The Role

As an IT Technical Leader you will be part of the IT Colombia team and will contribute on making possible the successful roll out of different software.

For this, you will be working with different teams in the following activities:
• Define and coordinate the technical tasks for the development of the software and/or interfaces.
• Use project’s best practices and WTW coding standards.
• Assist in budget for internal hardware/software.
• Create/Manage architecture diagrams/plans.
• Work with vendors.
• Serve as the interface between the developers and the project manager.
• Act as a mentor for the developers on the team.
• Has strong technical skills and often develops the architecturally significant components of the software system and/or interfaces.
• Ensure all the developers understand the big picture because their work has implications.
• Know the status of the developer’s work and detect slippage.
• Communicate technical issues/decisions effectively to PM and Sponsor by using business terms.
• Use project’s best practices and WTW coding standards.
• Develop different IT solution.

Job Requirements

The Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in computer science, software engineering or a related field
• 5+ years’ experience working in a technical environment. Experience in roles within the Software Development Life Cycle (Technical Lead, Architect, IT Project Manager).
• 5+ years’ experience coding in .NET or other object oriented language.
• 5+ years’ experience coding in Bizagi or other is desirable.
• 5+ years’ experience and strong knowledge in SQL.
• Ability to deploy systems in different environments.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
• Collaboration with a regional (LATAM)  team, including taking accountability for quality on-time delivery of work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter attitude and ability to work within ambiguity
• Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues
• Strong analytical and creative skills
• Continuous improvement mind-set – increasing task efficiency and effectiveness with each repetition and making recommendations for process improvement
• Strong client relationship, interpersonal and team skills
• Ability to work both independently and on client teams
• Sense of accountability; owning one’s work and taking pride in it
•Proficiency in English is a plus.
