Dell EMC - ScaleIO is looking for a Core Software Engineer to help drive our ground-breaking software-defined storage technology. This is a great opportunity to participate in the development of a disruptive product that revolutionizes the high-tech storage industry today.

In this position you will be part of a growing engineering team that is responsible for building storage functionality from scratch. Activities include design and implementation of highly parallel and distributed enterprise storage features, resolution of challenging technological issues and related research activities. Your responsibilities will include end-to-end product development.

A product manager is required to have a deep understanding of the enterprise IT ecosystem in general and storage infrastructure in particular.

Responsibilities include:
•Working closely with architecture teams to develop product strategy, roadmap, and feature prioritization
•Capturing and processing requests from customers, sales & marketing and internal stakeholders
•Delivering detailed requirements for customer-facing and internal features
•Enabling go-to-market activities such as webinars and tradeshows
•Training Sales and other stakeholders within the corporate
•Managing different aspects of product releases with cross-functional project teams, including PRDs, Beta programs, product documentation
•Leading product integrations with a variety of  virtual/backup/security/network products

•Deep understanding of the enterprise IT ecosystem across all layers – Operating systems, hypervisors, Ethernet networks, mission critical applications, containers
•Experience with VMware ecosystem and deployment – an advantage
•Proven experience in product management or technical marketing
•Experience in software development – an advantage
•Excellent communication skills – both verbally and in writing
•Engaging soft skills with the ability to drive execution across teams
•Team player with the ability to work independently within a global company
•Must be able to travel from time to time
•Fluent in English
•Relevant B.Sc. degree (CS/EE/IE); MBA – an advantage
