JOB SUMMARY
The Reporting & Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring Marriott int. reporting processes align with internal policies, external regulations, and industry standards. This role focuses on managing compliance requirements and generating comprehensive reports using advanced Microsoft applications and tools. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Power BI, Power query , Power pivot, Word, and PowerPoint, to deliver high-quality outputs.

Education and Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
5+ years in Hotels Finance , reporting, compliance, or related role.
Strong expertise in Microsoft applications, including Excel (advanced functions, VBA/macros), Power BI, Power query , Power pivot, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience in compliance management and regulatory reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting:
- Develop, manage, and distribute reports using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other analytics tools.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with various departments to consolidate data for management-level presentations.
- Compliance Management:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and reporting standards.
- Conduct periodic audits and assessments to identify gaps and risks in reporting or compliance procedures.
- Maintain documentation to provide evidence of compliance for audits and external reviews.
- Data Analysis and Visualization:
- Use Microsoft Power BI to design interactive dashboards and visualizations that track key compliance metrics and performance indicators.
- Leverage Excel for data cleaning, modeling, and advanced analysis (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, macros).
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Provide clear and actionable insights to senior management through well-structured presentations created in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Draft and format compliance reports, policies, and related documents using Microsoft Word.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline compliance workflows and reporting practices.
- Train team members and stakeholders on using Microsoft tools effectively for compliance and reporting tasks.
- Policy Implementation:
- Develop and update policies related to compliance and reporting standards.
- Ensure all policies align with legal requirements and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5+ years in Hotels Finance , reporting, compliance, or related role.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft applications, including Excel (advanced functions, VBA/macros), Power BI, Power query , Power pivot, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in compliance management and regulatory reporting processes.
- Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., data modeling, pivot tables, macros).
- Proficiency in Power BI for creating dashboards and interactive reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
